DESCRIPTION:We are holding an all-night movie marathon and we want you to join us! This is a family-friendly event for anyone aged 12 and older. We are planning to stay up all night (or\, at least\, most of it) watching The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings moves by Christian author\, J.R.R. Tolkien. We’re also going to have Pizza from The Diamond\, popcorn at midnight\, and a pancake breakfast. \nSIGN UP: Participants and their parents or guardians must download\, print and sign this permission slip and bring it on Friday. \nRules No one is allowed to attend the lock-in without a signed permission slip and contact numbers. Participants will not be allowed to go outside of church. Use your body respectfully: no revealing clothing\, no PDA\, no chasing or hurting others. No personal video games or electronic devices (cell phones will be allowed for emergencies only). Special medication or required items should be indicated above and given to the Chaperones. No smoking\, vaping\, illegal drugs\, alcohol\, dangerous materials\, or firearms. All participants must respect othersʼ physical boundaries. Inappropriate behavior (i.e.\, physical intimacy or sexual harassment) is not permitted and will not be tolerated. Same gender sleeping quarters will be provided. Lights out/quiet hours will be observed in these areas. Take care of yourself and clean up after yourself. Be considerate of others and respectful of the church. Violation of these rules will result in disciplinary action and may include the participant being asked to leave. Parents or guardians will be called to pick them up regardless of the hour. The enforcement of rules is everyone’s responsibility. \nThings to Bring  \nSleeping bag or blanket\, pillow\, pajamas\, slippers (appropriate evening wear)  \nPersonal items (toothbrush\, toothpaste\, comb\, deodorant. etc.)  \nFor more information\, contact Pastor Rosanna in the church office at 788-7898 by 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.

We will use the book Big God\, Big Questions published by the Presbyterian Publishing Corporation. \nEveryone aged 12 and older is welcome. For those who would like this to be a confirmation class experience\, we will have a public profession of faith in worship and celebration on August 11. We will also organize a service project chosen by participants. \nWe will meet in the Parlor on Sundays\, July 7 through August 11\, from 9:00 – 9:45 a.m.
