SUMMARY:Autumn Bible Study
DESCRIPTION:A new group will discuss the revised classic book Soul Feast by Marjorie Thompson.  She is a beloved Presbyterian author who recently updated this popular book. The subtitle is An Invitation to the Christian Spiritual Tradition because she shows us how God has prepared a “feast” of ways to practice nurturing Christian faith in our daily lives\, such as devotional reading\, contemplative prayer\, and Sabbath keeping. This excellent book includes forewords by Barbara Brown Taylor and Henri J. M. Nouwen.  \nEveryone is invited to join us for our fall Bible study on Wednesdays at 10 am at Union Chapel and online. This is the link to join the Zoom meeting. \nClick on this link to order it directly from the publisher. \nIf you have time\, it would be great to read the forewords through Introduction before the first meeting. If not\, don’t worry- we will help you catch up!
