For this year’s Lenten Book Group, we will discuss Lent in Plain Sight: A Devotion Through Ten Objects by Jill J. Duffield (Westminster John Knox Press, 2020). As several of you said when voting for this book, it looks interesting without being too heavy. Our group discussion will be a great way to get to know one another better as we reflect on our Christian faith in the season leading up to the celebration of Easter.
We will meet via Zoom from 10:30 – 11:30 a.m. on Wednesdays, March 1, 8, 15, 22, and 29.
For the first meeting, we will discuss the first two themes: dust and bread.
