Including native plants in your garden is a great way to help pollinators. Expand your native plantings inexpensively by growing them yourself from seed.
Seeds, potting soil, sharp sand, tape and labels will be provided ($5 materials fee suggested)
We will learn about germination requirements for specific kinds of seeds and how to plant a seed selection to cold stratify over the winter. Proper after-care will be discussed.
Save your empty gallon plastic milk jugs. Some jugs will be available for those without. Bring a good pair of scissors or sheers to cut the plastic, and gloves if needed.
Refreshments will be served.
Space is limited. Register by emailing Diana Fiske at trughouse@comcast.net.
